Three Key Steps for letting go of uncertainty
In my experience as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, when I see the phrase “dealing with uncertainty“, two things pop into my head;
Our lives will always have an element of uncertainty present.
Where did we ever get the idea that we can always have certainty within this life we live?
The human soul indeed craves routine and certainty. It provides comfort and safety. However, it would be a mistake to depend on it since nothing in life is guaranteed.
Uncertainty challenges us
These harsh realities have been brought into sharp focus by the Covid-19 pandemic. Those who have diligently practised self-regulation, mindfulness or meditation, for example, are better for it.
However, some people continue to have challenges and have not recovered from this trauma. The pandemic is why mental health has emerged so strongly in response to depression. Fear and anxiety are a hallmark of these disorders.
As a result, It has become increasingly common for people to feel more uncertain about their future.
A person with heightened consciousness can always trust that they have options and possibilities available to them. So what does one do to acquire such a mindset?
Dealing with uncertainty
Learning to let go, accepting the past, and working with the present is the key. As a warrior, imagine yourself out on the front lines. It would be best if you prepared yourself for virtually any eventuality by asking your colleagues and friends for advice and help.
Letting go
The opposite end of the dichotomy is trust. Many have forgotten the meaning of this word. What are the steps to developing personal confidence? The internal clutter needs to be cleared first. It is composed of negative emotions and beliefs that hold us back.
Deep trust is established as unconscious connections begin to surface in their place. Then, finally, a wonderful surprise of intuition emerges. The individual begins to act from intuitive (unconscious) instinct rather than the conscious, intervening mind.
Accept the present
There is nothing we can do NOW to change anything. We can only take action by observing and assessing the situation we are experiencing. Then, following that, determine how the present will affect the future.
If you make a mistake, take stock, learn from it and move on. The more comfortable you become with this procedure, the easier it becomes in dealing with uncertainty. You begin to accept it as part of the natural law of life.
People may refer to this as having a positive outlook. However, it is more than just having a positive outlook. A high level of resilience has been built into it. In addition, you have to know how to de-stress and stay focused.
Work with the present
Right now, your focus is on your current situation and the current outcomes you are looking to achieve. Design your tomorrow the way you want it to be. Although you can set goals using NLP techniques with self-management tools, you can quickly learn those skills.
Set some goals and learn about the power of manifesting those goals. Use your visualisation skills to refocus your thoughts and experience your dreams. By now, I can assure you that you will not have anxiety and worry if you face losing your job or not finding work.
Uncertainty and the mind
Therefore, it all lies within your mind. Spending time and money on NLP Mindset Coaching is a sure-fire way to cultivate a positive outlook. Once you can understand the basics of deep trust within yourself, you will have many skills that will help you lead a long and fulfilling life.
Learning to “flow” with it
Today I dedicate myself to helping people believe in themselves. Additionally, I help people in the corporate world live and work more efficiently. Additionally, I coach people one-on-one to move them from their current situation to a more empowering one.
During dramatic changes in my life, I had to deal with a tremendous amount of uncertainty. However, there was no judgement or questioning on my part. I just allowed myself to flow into possible solutions. The trust I needed was born out of the positive mindset I had learned through these hardships.
Change requires courage
My courage to go through a massive transformation is the reason why I managed to survive. The decision to change my life came from taking control of my life. Therefore, taking this step is essential.
Don’t let anyone intimidate you. It does not matter where you begin. Wherever you end up, you will be a better person. In this case, you are concerned with your value as a person.
Tell me, what would it take for you to stand up for yourself and make it happen?”
