Affirmations to Live By

Positive Affirmations to live by

Affirmations are statements or commands spoken either negatively or positively. The most popular use of ‘spoken affirmations’ are positive.

They are spoken willfully and deliberately to help in the changing of some aspect of your life.

Several years ago, after leaving my work of 13 years, I became very discouraged and, as a result, lost my self-confidence and joy.

I wrote out some of my own personal affirmations and began using them every day. It wasn’t long before I became more excited about life and more encouraged about what the future held for me.

Speaking from my own personal experiences, daily positive affirmations certainly helped me change my life, and they can do the same for you as well.

Powerful Positive Affirmations

Please understand, if you repeat your affirmations without emotion or without believing them, you are in actual effect affirming the opposite.

Because of this, many people find that their situation worsens when using affirmations. Therefore, it is essential to resist the temptation to think of the affirmation as false.

By accepting, believing and acting as if the positive affirmation has already been achieved, you will begin to ‘retrain’ your subconscious mind to think positively; moreover, the new affirmed statement or command will slowly replace incorrect beliefs.

As you do this repeatedly, you will ultimately begin to create the life you are dreaming of consciously.

Daily positive affirmations can impact your life by creating more enthusiasm, vitality, motivation and a strong sense of well-being.

You can find many pre-written affirmations on the internet, but it’s better to write your own because no one knows YOU better than YOU.

Writing your own affirmations

So let’s go ahead and create some positive affirmations.
Most affirmations are directed at YOU and are normally opposite to what you might believe, for example…

NEGATIVE belief: “I am NOT a confident person” Affirmation in the – POSITIVE: “I AM a confident person.”
NEGATIVE belief: “I am NOT capable” Affirmation in the – POSITIVE: “I can DO anything.”
NEGATIVE belief: “It’s IMPOSSIBLE to change” Affirmation in the – POSITIVE: “ALL things are POSSIBLE to those who believe”

You get the idea. Now go ahead and write some of your own positive affirmations. For example, you might begin with something like this…” I am a successful person because I have the WILL TO WIN”, “I am healthy and wealthy because I am a DISCIPLINED person.”

Remember:

You may have used affirmations before only to be disappointed by the fact they didn’t work. As I said earlier, you must affirm your affirmations with EMOTION and the FEELING deep within yourself that they have already manifested in your internal reality.

You can use your affirmations in conjunction with ‘Brain entrainments” programs, such as binaural beats and Isochronic tones, to bring about MAXIMUM IMPACT!

While doing your affirmations, see it, feel the emotion, hear the sounds and experience the feelings within, just as if you had already achieved it!
