Law of Attraction & the Secret
The first time I saw the movie ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne, it deeply changed how I saw the world around me. I was truly amazed that I could create my own reality and control what happened in my life. But, unfortunately, although the movie was excellent in introducing the Law of Attraction, it didn’t quite explain how to apply it in your life.
So, here’s my shortened version of how to apply the Law of Attraction in your life. I hope you find it useful and mark the beginning of further curiosity to understand this compelling universal law.
Law of attraction is all about education
To begin to understand the law of attraction and how it influences your life, you need to educate yourself. Therefore, I would suggest taking the time to learn as much as possible about the law of attraction, and how you can use it for all areas of your life, become so knowledgeable about the subject, that you can teach others about it.
At the very core of the law of attraction are your thoughts; it’s more than just positive thinking. Once you deeply understand the true nature of your thoughts, you would have already catapulted yourself far above those who think they understand the law of attraction.
Know what you want
Most people have no idea what they want because they don’t understand their predominant thought patterns. Energy flows where focus goes; you will always attract into your life the things you are focused on most of the time.
I would suggest getting yourself a journal to explore your feelings and emotions on a deeper level. Set time aside for some ‘me time’ and begin to write. Seeing your feelings on paper clears all the clutter in your mind and allows you to see a clear new perspective.
Actioned alignment
Mastering the law of attraction requires you to take small intentional action steps towards your vision. Now that you have your law of attraction journal, I would suggest writing your daily actions down. By doing this, you will be able to remain focused and motivated on your path to greatness. It will also guide you in showing which actions align with your goals and those that are not. Finally, by documenting your actions throughout the day, you will see how you spend your time and quickly identify any time leakages.
If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve always got. To achieve something other than what you already have, you have to do something different. Time passes so quickly with people doing the same boring thing over and over again, expecting things to change, it won’t. You see, the law of attraction is continually working, and now it’s only going to give you more of the same.
To master the law of attraction in your life, you must take small actionable steps aligned with your goals; any action that is not aligned with what you want must be dropped from your daily routine. At the end of the day, and after writing in your journal, ask yourself, “Are my actions today still on track with what I want to achieve?”
